Just Be…. Encouraging Poem about Being Yourself
JUST BE…
Take the time to just be..
Turn off the chatter in your mind,
and just breathe.
Because the world can wait
for a moment for you to just be you,
to unwind, recharge
and just feel good…>>>
Step away from the crowd,
and find your beautiful face.
In a world
that is always
seeking your attention,
it is easy for it
to get lost, tired
and forgotten.
Don’t let that happen.
You are worth fighting for
and worth celebrating…
Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest”. Jesus Christ
Slow down and take a moment to just be
kind to yourself.
Let go of the
things that are beyond your control,
and forgive yourself.
Understand that you are not here
to be perfect.
You’re here to be you.
And no matter what any one says
or thinks about you,
no one else can do that
better than you…
just be still
Find a moment to just be still…
enter the silence,
where the sweetest words
you’ll ever hear
are the ones that are never spoken.
“The quieter you become, the more you can hear.” ― Ram Dass
Find your spirit
the part of you that knows more
than you’ll ever learn in this lifetime.
This is the part of you
that gives your heart its beat,
that doesn’t forget to breathe,
even when you’re sleeping.
This is the part of you
that talks to God
when you’re not even listening.
Don’t let the cares
of this world,
put out that light in you
that can look at a baby
and spontaneously smile,
gaze at the ocean
and become quite inside.
This is the part of you
that lives with God,
where His strength
is always available to you,
and in any situation
remains calm,
and already knows what to do.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;…Psalm 46:10 NIV
And that’s
worth fighting for,
and worth celebrating…
So take the time
to just be,
to breathe,
and just feel good.
“In the rush and noise of life, as you have intervals, step home within yourselves and be still. Wait upon God, and feel His good presence; this will carry you evenly through your day’s business.” William Penn
