A Mothers Love Poem

For Mother’s Day this year, I dedicate this mothers love poem to mothers everywhere. May you know that you are loved and appreciated for all that you do.

NORTH STAR

She held you close,
that day when you were born.
Her wide eyes
beamed at you,
and her whole heart
wrapped around you.
And just like that,
she was yours.

She held your little hands
and kissed your little feet.
She knew you were special,
and that one day
you would have big dreams…
 that God had a great
purpose for you.

Direct your children onto the right path,
    and when they are older, they will not leave it. Proverbs 22.6 NLT

She promised to do everything
in her power to help you, empower you
and encourage you on your journey…
to be your teacher,
a vessel of knowledge
and wisdom,
to cheer you on
and help you
fight your battles.
To push you past your limits so,
you could go further
than she’s ever gone.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26 AMP

She’s your North Star,
the voice of reason
that guides you,
she’s the life coach
that motivates you
and inspires you
to be the best version
of yourself. 

She’s your best friend, confidant and prayer warrior.
She is love unconditional..
She is more than you could ask for.
She’s your Mother.
